From 22 to 24 January, a delegation of the MPCC attended a conference with the EuroCorps in Strasbourg. With this initiative, a common base was built for the coming period. A good preparation for the upcoming MILEX24 exercise where MPCC and EuroCorps will work closely together.

The EU is increasing its capacity as a security provider and with MILEX24 a new step is set to answer current and future needs through the operationalisation of the Rapid Deployment Capacity and the Military Planning and Conduct Capability.

MILEX24 consists of two parts. The first part is a command post exercise and will be conducted from 08 April to 03 May 2024. During the exercise, the MPCC will be in Brussels, while the EuroCorps will be in Strasbourg (FR).

The second part of the exercise is the LIVEX. The LIVEX aspect of MILEX 24 will take place during the second half of 2024 and will be aligned to the German-led Battlegroup exercise EUROPEAN CHALLENGE.
