Drought is not only predictable, it is manageable!

We have supported the Kenyan government to institutionalise this function through the National Drought Management Authority and its predecessor since 2007!

Today we flagged off 8 cars and 2 trucks of animal feed pellets. These will be used in response in counties worst affected by poor rains this year.

In addition, the EU has provided humanitarian support through the European Civil Protection and Humanitairian Aid (ECHO) to vulnerable communities in several sub counties of Baringo, Turkana, Marsabit and Tana River.
