High Representative/Vice-President Josep Borrell travels to the United Kingdom to participate in the fourth meeting of the European Political Community, which takes place in Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire on Thursday, 18 July. This meeting provides an important opportunity for leaders of countries across the continent to cooperate and discuss support to Ukraine, democracy, security and defence, migration, energy, and connectivity.

High Representative will speak to the press at the arrival to the meeting (09:00 WEST/10:00 CEST). It will be broadcasted on EbS.

Josep Borrell will attend the plenary session, which will focus on Ukraine and European Security, and will address the roundtable discussion on “Defending and Securing Democracy”. During his visit, the High Representative will also hold a series of bilateral meetings, including with President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, Prime Minister of Iceland, Bjarni Benediktsson, and British Foreign Secretary, David Lammy.
