The Venezuelan crisis has resulted in a widespread shortage of medicines across the country. What remains accessible on the market, is often too expensive for a population largely struggling to work and earn a living. Our intervention along across Latin America focus on guaranteeing free access to basic healthcare to migrants and refugees. On the border between Colombia and Venezuela, EU supported medical centres work around the clock to assist those in need, like Mirtha who used to cross the border everyday to get medications for her young daughter.
