G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting

South Africa’s G20 Presidency marks a historic moment, as South Africa is the first African country that holds the Presidency. On 20-21 February, South Africa welcomes G20 Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Johannesburg.  

The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, will participate in the first Foreign Ministers’ meeting during South Africa’s G20 Presidency. The theme of South Africa’s G20 Presidency is “Solidarity, Equality, and Sustainability”. Discussions will focus on the global geopolitical situation and South Africa’s G20 Presidency priorities.
