The signature of the EU-Norway Security and Defence Partnership is a clear testimony of the strong bilateral relations, with our most closely associated partner including in the field of security and defence, as highlighted in the EU Strategic Compass.

The new Security and Defence Partnership takes EU-Norway relations to the next level, contributing to our collective security to the benefit of both European and Norwegian citizens; including our continued support to Ukraine, cyber security, resilience, Norway’s participation in CSDP missions and operations, and introduces consultations on peace mediation.
