The project provides targeted trainings, long and short-term technical assistance and technical and general equipment in order to strengthen TANESCO's management practices, digitalisation of internal systems and processes, and develop a modern ICT infrastructure as well as related capacity for efficient use Enterprise ResourcePlanning (ERP), Smart Grid Study and Development of a Smart Grid road map for Tanzania. It includes a policy reform component which, among other strategic document aims at the development of the National Renewable Energy strategy and Action Plan and of the Power System Master Plan (PSMP).
