After 160+ applications and hours of soundtrack submissions, paired with an evident eagerness of participants to succeed, only six contestants remain. 'Mziki na Maarifa' (Music and Knowledge) is well underway.

Leticia Richard, a 23-year-old advocate for girls rights, stepped into the role of EU Ambassador for a day as part of the #GirlsTakeover initiative. Her experience highlighted the importance of empowering young women and promoting girls' rights. Leticia used her time to advocate for gender equality, meet with EU staff and youth representatives, and learn about the EU's work in Tanzania.

Ms. Charlina Vitcheva, Director General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries at the European Commission, undertook a three-day visit to Tanzania. Her visit included participation in the 8th Meeting of Ministers Responsible for Oceans, Inland Waters, and Fisheries of the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS), along with engagements at key marine and fisheries institutes.
