The EU Delegation to Venezuela does not have consular functions. For long-stay visas, please contact the relevant embassy.
If you are a citizen of a Member State that does not have diplomatic representation in Venezuela, you are entitled to diplomatic and consular protection from any other Member State that has representation in Venezuela. (Article 20(2)(C) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union).

Study programmes
Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme that supports mobility projects in fields related to education. Venezuela participates in the following programmes:
- International mobility of credits
- Erasmus Mundus joint Master’s Degrees
- The development of skills in the field of higher education
- The Jean Monnet Programme for higher education lecturers and institutions
- Marie Curie fellowships for doctoral researchers and students and research centres
Who can participate?
Depending on the programme, students, teaching staff, higher education institutions, and both public and private organisations can participate in Erasmus+.
