On 27 November, the opening ceremony of the IX European Film Festival took place at the National Palace of Cinema Arts. This year we also celebrate the 30th anniversary of official relations between the European Union and Uzbekistan, and the IX European Film Festival has become one of the crucial events dedicated to this important anniversary.

The premiere was marked by the visit of H.E. Mr Toivo Klaar, the Ambassador of the European Union to Uzbekistan, highlighting the European Union's commitment to fostering cultural exchange.
