ABOUT US
Ambassador’s Corner
The “Ambassador Speaks” section provides additional information on public knowledge of the Chad-European Union partnership, and beyond the EU's action in the world. The ambassador communicates about EU-Chad cooperation projects and political dialogue to inform the population as a whole about the partnership's activities. The initial partnership, based essentially on the implementation of projects financed by the European Development Fund (EDF), has evolved to gradually adapt to new challenges.
A fifty-year partnership
Chad's leading development partner, the European Union intervenes in several sectors mainly through the European Development Fund. Since the creation of the first European Development Fund, Chad has benefited from more than millions of Euros. European Union aid has, through successive EDFs, supported different sectors.
