Who we are
The European Economic and Trade Office, established in 2003 as the EU Office in Taiwan, is the official representation of the European Union in Taiwan.
What we do
Our mission is to:
- Represent, promote and advance the interests and values of the European Union in Taiwan.
- Develop and strengthen bilateral relations in trade and investment, policy cooperation, culture, education, research and innovation.
- Coordinate and work with representatives of the EU Member States in Taiwan on matters of interest to the European Union where relevant, through cooperation with Taiwan to promote the EU’s interests and values in the region.

Our office
Under the direction of the Head of Office, the Office is comprised of three sections:
- Political, Press and Information Section.
- Trade Section.
- Administration Section.
