EUROL4: Searching for Local Office Administrative Manager
The Italian Interior Ministry represented by Criminal Police Central Directorate, International Police Cooperation Service and the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro (EUD) is searching for qualified experts from Montenegro for the position of full-time office administrative manager who provide their know-how to the above-mentioned EU Contribution Agreement project in Montenegro.
The overall objective of the Contribution Agreement is to prepare Montenegro for the accession to the EU by assisting it to align with and effectively implement the relevant EU acquis and EU standards in the fields of Justice and Security under Chapters 23 and 24 in line with the new enlargement methodology.
The specific objectives will aim at supporting Montenegro to strengthen the efficiency and performance of the judiciary and enhance the capacities of the institutions to fight against high level corruption and serious and organized crime, to produce a convincing track record on the more complex types of organized crime, including money laundering and tobacco smuggling, as well as in the confiscation of proceeds of crime.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ASSIGNMENT
Under the supervision of the Team Leader assist the entire ACT-62405 team in the day-to-day implementation of the project, i.e. overall management of the office administration, coordination, controlling and accounting, drafting of written materials (incl. minutes of meetings), facilitating internal and external communication, keeping archives of all project documentation, close cooperation with project manager/coordinator, flight bookings, etc.
The working language of the project is English.
REQUIRED EXPERT PROFILE
- University degree in Law, Administration, Accounting, Social Sciences, Project Management, or other relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience as an assistant/administrative assistant, ideally in an EU or donor funded project and/or in a legal context
- Proven coordination and management skills
- Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English
- Practical experience in translation and interpretation English-Montenegrin-English would be considered an advantage
- Very good oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Highest standards of integrity and experience in handling confidential information
- High degree of independence, strong own initiative and flexibility, discretion, and professionalism
- Full computer literacy in Word, Excel, Power Point and/or in other presentation software
- Flexibility, strong adaptation skills and capability of teamwork in a potentially stressful environment under tight deadlines
DURATION AND LOCATION OF THE ASSIGNMENT
Availability must be ensured for a long-term and full-time engagement for the duration of 35 months and high preference will be given to candidates who are able to report to work after 15th January 2025. Location of work is Podgorica, Montenegro (no remote work foreseen).

SELECTION PROCEDURE
All received applications will be reviewed and a shortlist of those candidates produced who will be invited to a personal interview with the Evaluation Committee. Following this interview, the Evaluation Committee will make the final decision on the candidate selection. The selection procedure shall be based on professional background, relevant work experience and language skills, according to the requested qualifications mentioned above. The interview may also be organized as a video call.
