Excellent collaboration for the future of the NCO school in CAR!
When it speaks of a job well done, collaboration within the team and making the best use of each member's experience always play a major role.
We saw this today at Camp Kassai, where EUTM specialists met with FACA specialists to jointly conduct a training program for instructors who will teach in the soon-to-open NCO school.
In a collegial atmosphere, the EUTM specialists presented the main objectives of the EUTM RCA mission and emphasized the important role that this teamwork will play in preparing the future key leaders of the army and, by extension, of the nation.
This week's program, generically called train the trainers will continue until Friday. One of the important aspects of these meetings is for the instructors to get to know each other better, exchange useful experiences, and find the best ways to work together as the NCO training program unfolds.
Col. José Martins, Leadership Development Group Chief, said of the joint experience that it is "not only a moment of recall and learning, but also the launch of our collaboration, where trainers from EUTM and FACA come together as a team to prepare our future non-commissioned officers.
This course is fundamental to strengthening the FACA's capabilities and improving the performance of its cadres. It is a valuable opportunity to develop essential skills that will have a lasting impact on our collective mission."
This is, in fact, one of the main objectives of the EUTM, namely, to support the Central African Republic, in partnership with other European actors and MINUSCA, in modernizing FACA and, by extension, in improving the security of this country.
