Chasing the Stars on the Road – field visit with EU Jeel Connectors
1st project: The EU-funded Green Links Project aims to promote sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and green economy initiatives in the resource-strained Azraq and Zarqa regions, which host many Syrian refugees. Running from September 2023 to August 2025, the project addresses challenges in the energy, water, and food sectors through innovative resource management solutions and promoting a nexus approach.
2nd project: the EU-funded project "Resilience and empowerment of vulnerable women: the future of Jordan's growth and stability" addresses the training and skill development of vulnerable women in some of Jordan’s most impoverished areas
3rd project: the EU-funded project "B-LIEVE: Increasing Livelihood Income and Empowerment for Eliminating Vulnerability in Jordan" works to improve the economic empowerment and social inclusion of the most vulnerable groups in Jordan. The end beneficiaries are a diverse group of vulnerable communities: including women, PwDs, former inmates and at-risk youth. The project delivers a mix of activities: financial and psychosocial support, improved access to education, training and mentoring, and self-employment opportunities (online freelancing and micro-entrepreneurship). The global objective is the social and economic integration of the beneficiaries.
