The EU Family in Kosovo Celebrates European Day of Languages
On 26 September, to mark the European Day of Languages, the EU in Kosovo organized a visit to Eqrem Çabej School in Pristina, a specialized language school offering diverse language programs. During the visit, the EU Ambassador to Kosovo, along with diplomatic representatives from the Embassies of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, and Germany, each delivered lectures on the importance of European languages and their cultural significance. The lectures emphasized Europe’s rich linguistic diversity and the vital role of multilingualism.
After the lectures, the EU Ambassador and representatives from the EU family unveiled the "European Tree of Languages" mural, celebrating linguistic diversity. The mural, inspired by a design from the Council of Europe, symbolizes the cultural richness of Europe's many languages.
