The Delegation of the European Union in Mozambique marked the “Europe Day 2023” with an official event at the EU Ambassador’s Residence, attended by guests from government, diplomatic community, development partners, private sector, civil society and the creative industries sector. Besides the anthems, Europe’s “Ode to Joy” and Mozambique’s “Patria Amada”, both sang in Portuguese, and the official speeches, the event included photo exhibitions, live painting, music and dance performances by local artists, and an interactive board about the EU Strategy Global Gateway.
