The European Union is a major donor and the main trade partner of Lebanon. The sectors of cooperation between the EU, its Members States and Lebanon range from Economic Development, Human Rights and Governance, to Social Assistance, Humanitarian Aid, Cultural Development and Heritage, Environmental Protection, Covid-19 relief, Reform, Recovery and Reconstruction (3RF) ‒following the Beirut Port explosion‒ and many more.
