Programmes under the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI) include: 

• Project-based technical assistance is available to the national administration and semi-public bodies. These include the long term Twinning programme and the shorter term and Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument (TAIEX).
• The EU Peacebuilding Initiative has replaced the EU Partnership for Peace programme and aims to support and promote the conditions for a sustainable resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through positive civil society projects. 

In addition, Israeli NGOs and civil society organizations, as well as regional and local authorities, are eligible to apply to a wide variety of other programmes under ENI including the Cross Border Cooperation Programme (CBC) and regional programmes such as Med Culture, SUDEP, Euromed Police, Euromed Justice and PPRD. 

Instruments under the European Development Policy: 

• The European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) supports the promotion of democracy and human rights in non-EU countries.  EIDHR functions on the country level by supporting actions in Israel and monitoring the human rights situation both in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. On the global level, it supports activities covered by the EU Guidelines on Human Rights. 
• The Higher education programme Erasmus +, which aims to boost skills and employability and modernize education, training and youth work. Erasmus+ supports transnational partnerships among education, training, and youth institutions and organisations to foster cooperation and bridge the worlds of education and industry in order to ensure synergy between academic studies and the labour market. It also supports national efforts to modernise the national systems in these fields.
