EU Ambassador Ina Marciunlionyte presented her credentials to the President of Mongolia

On 18 September 2024,  the Head of the EU Delegation to Mongolia, Ambassador Ms Ina Marciulionyte, presented her credentials to the President of Mongolia H.E. Mr Khurelsukh Ukhnaa. 

The President acknowledged the EU as a valued partner and 3rd neighbour for Mongolia and longstanding partnership for development since 1989. He thanked for the continued support since the country’s transition to democracy and market economy, and expressed the willingness to expand bilateral relations and cooperation in the green development, environmental protection, mitigating impacts of climate change, digital transformation and connectivity.  

Ambassador Ms Ina Marciulionyte expressed readiness to continue supporting Mongolia’s efforts in diversifying its economy, mitigating the impacts of climate change and working closely on sustainable green development as well as supporting Mongolia’s democracy and rule of law.
