Message from the Ambassador
مرحبا لبنان!
My name is Sandra De Waele, I am the new Ambassador of the European Union to Lebanon.
I am extremely happy to be in Lebanon, a country that stole my heart when I visited it for the first time, over ten years ago.
I am originally from Belgium, and have been working for European Union institutions for more than 25 years, including in postings in different corners of the world.
While we will have ample time to discuss the ways the European Union can contribute to Lebanon’s recovery and development, through this video, I already wanted to quickly introduce myself and tell you how eager I am to discover your beautiful country.
