Visa

Nationals of the Gabonese Republic who want to travel to one of the countries in the Schengen area must apply for a visa at the embassy or consulate general of the country concerned.

The Schengen visa or uniform visa is issued under the conditions provided for in Articles 5 and 15 of the Convention implementing the Schengen Agreement signed on June 3, 1991. It replaces the old national visas and is valid for countries of the Schengen Area (26 European countries including 22 members of the EU).

The minimum time for processing a visa application is 48 hours for a short stay and a minimum of one week for a long student stay. However, this period may vary depending on your nationality and your place of residence (people passing through Gabon).
