Looking ahead, ASPIDES will play a key role for EU Common Security and Defense Policy, by contributing to freedom of navigation, supporting trade routes and protecting seafarers lives.

We remain committed to protecting maritime navigation through registration of merchant vessels on MSCIO (Maritime Security Centre Indian Ocean).
