Synopsis

Starting first grade, Nora witnesses her older brother Abel being bullied at school. Caught between her father's concern and Abel's request for her not to reveal what happened, Nora is caught up in an internal conflict too overwhelming for a seven-year-old girl.

The film explores the way that bullying spreads like a stain through a primary and middle school community; how the taint of victimhood can override the bonds of friendship and family; and how doing the right thing can backfire.
