How Jordanian media are covering the election campaign? The experience of Radio Al Balad, the first community radio in Jordan.

Its mission is to encourage dialogue, to educate the public, to help in the decision-making process, and to empower the marginalized groups by giving them space to express themselves.

Radio Al Balad has a network of journalists trained by the radio staff, including many women and young people. These volunteers are based in different governorates across Jordan. They contribute to radio programmes that explore the issues affecting local communities.
