Ambassador’s Corner
The EU and Egypt enjoy a long-standing friendship and strong relations across the Mediterranean sea. The EU is Egypt's largest trading partner and the number one foreign direct investor. We work together with our Egyptian partners in the government, civil society, the business community and many other stakeholders. We are partners in many regional and global issues affecting the EU and Egypt.
Over many years we have built a strong partnership with our friends in the League of Arab States.
