In July 2020, the EU launched the largest humanitarian air bridge to the date. More than 220 tons of medical materials and relief were flown into Aden and Sana’a to continue providing emergency assistance. The EU has also stepped up its to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic by supporting the Yemeni health infrastructure and preventing it from collapsing.
