The EU supports the strengthening of production and value chains of traditional products to promote sustainable, green and inclusive growth of small and medium enterprises. These projects improve the competitiveness through the introduction of innovation processes and production technology, associative marketing and training. The EU´s action also takes into account the conservation of ecosystems through environmentally friendly production, as well as to strengthen the role and leadership of women producers.
