The EEAS is launching a call for expression of interest in short-term assignments of 2-4 weeks at the European Parliament for administrators/temporary agents/SNEs and Contract Agents of AD non-management level based in Brussels.

The assignments can take place between 1 March 2025 to 31 October 2025 in all the EP services among others:Directorate-General for External Policies (DG EXPO);- Directorate-General for Internal Policies (DG IPOL); Directorate-General Parliamentary Democracy Partnerships (DG PART), Directorate General Parliamentary Research Services (DG EPRS), to name a few.

Your application should include the following:

  • Curriculum vitae;
  • Letter of motivation of max 1 page indicating:
  • The policy area of your interest or preferable destination Directorate-General/unit at the EP;
  • The desired starting date and length of the mission, which should not be longer than four weeks.
  • The agreement of your line manager.

Deadline: 16 December 2024 (noon)

The Career, Learning and Development, EU Diplomatic Academy Division will liaise with the European Parliament to explore the possibility of your assignment based on your preferences, priorities and availability in the course of January 2025.

Your administrative position will not change during your short-term assignment at the European Parliament.
