Europe Day Celebrations in Turkey

This Saturday 9 May the EU Delegation in Ankara is pleased to invite you to a special online event.

The EU Delegation to Turkey will mark Europe Day 2020 and the 70^th anniversary of the Schuman declaration with a moderated 90-minute streamed event including:

Interview with the Head of Delegation Christian Berger;
Video on 70 years Schuman declaration;
Messages from Turkish representatives from politics, media, business and culture;
Video showcasing EU projects in Turkey;
Debate on the fight against Coronavirus;
A 45-minute virtual concert performed by the European Union Youth Orchestra and Turkish artists playing:

- Camille Saint-Saens The Swan, from Carnival of the Animals
- Ludwig v. Beethoven Canzona di Ringrazimento from String Quartet in A minor Op. 132
