In the framework of the European month, the EU Delegation to Zambia and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) has been organising since 2017 EU Walk and Run open for everyone. Activities are aimed at all age groups, including a 10km run or 5km walk for adults and teenagers, and a 1km Bafana Walk for children. The 2019 edition proved to be extremely successful with nearly 1000 people who took part.
