Following the tragic explosion that shook the city of Beirut, the European Union organised three humanitarian air bridges to respond to the most urgent needs of the Lebanese people. One of the planes carried ambulances and medical equipment that was donated to the Lebanese Civil Defence and Red Cross (2020).
