HR/VP Kaja Kallas visited the UN World Food Programme (WFP) and met with Cindy McCain, Executive Director of the WFP and Carl Skau, the WFP’s Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Executive Director. Among the topics discussed was the Grain from Ukraine for Syria initiative. From the WFP Operations Centre, the HR/VP connected to the impressive WFP staff on the ground in Ukraine, Gaza, Syria and Sudan and discussed current geopolitical challenges.
