Ambassador Martin Selmayr attended this week the WFP Executive Board First Regular Session at the UN World Food Programme in Rome. Members discussed how to strongly support the WFP, an important humanitarian organisation in its fight against hunger in the many crises hotspots across the globe.

On behalf of the European Union, Ambassador Selmayr confirmed that the EU is and will remain a reliable and predictable partner of WFP – “we count on WFP and WFP can count on the EU”.
