Modernisation of Civil Registry e-Services: Tender Announced

13.12.2024

The e-Governance Academy (Estonia), within the DT4UA project funded by the European Union, announces a tender for services to modernise electronic public services in the civil registration sphere.

The modernisation should optimise the work of civil register office officials by automating processes for issuing extracts and duplicates, ensuring the relevance of user data, and implementing paid document delivery.

Key Modernization Tasks:

  • Transition to centralised processing of applications by the Digital Office.
  • Introduction of paid delivery for duplicates and extracts.
  • Integration of extract services into a unified service.
  • Integration with state registers to automatically retrieve relevant personal user data.
  • Elimination of personal data storage in user profiles on the Diia Portal.

The modernisation of e-services will reduce service refusals by ensuring up-to-date user data, simplify registration on the Diia Portal without the need to store personal data and enable the fast and convenient ordering of extracts and duplicates in civil registration.

Applications for participation in the tender can be submitted until January 13, 2025.
