Five Ukrainian organisations will develop Virtual Exchanges opportunities under EU-funded Erasmus+ Programme

Three new projects (out of 26 submitted proposals) involving 5 organisations as partners from Ukraine have been selected for funding under the European Union Erasmus+ Programme for Virtual Exchanges (EVE) in 2024 aimed to provide online activities and promote intercultural dialogue as well as soft skills development.

Erasmus+ Virtual Exchanges make it possible for every young person to access high-quality international and cross-cultural education without physical mobility, taking place in small groups and are always moderated by a trained facilitator. Such online mobilities should be easily integrated into youth (non-formal education) projects or higher education courses.

Within such projects Ukrainian organizations will benefit from the experience of European partners and expand their capacity to develop and implement virtual exchanges within formal and non-formal education.

Erasmus+ Virtual Exchanges projects’ consortium included 3 NGOs and 2 Higher Education Institutions as partners:

  • Kyiv Education, Training and Youth Centre, partner of “SEAL-NR- Skills Enrichment for Adaptive Leadership in the New Reality”;
  • Institute of Social and Economic Initiatives, partner of “SEAL-NR- Skills Enrichment for Adaptive Leadership in the New Reality”;
  • Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, partner of “SEAL-NR- Skills Enrichment for Adaptive Leadership in the New Reality”;
  • Kharkiv Non-Governmental Association for Active Youth Stella, partner of “EYCP- European Youth - Connection PRogramme”;
  • National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", partner of “Virtual Voyages- Acquiring Transversal Competences through Virtual Voyages”.

Selected for funding projects will be implemented jointly with 20 partners from 14 Counties: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Moldova, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain, and Turkey.

Since 2021, 17 Ukrainian partners (14 – as full partners in and 3 – as associated partners) are involved into implementation of 6 Erasmus+ Virtual Exchanges.
