European Union Ambassador to Uganda Jan Sadek was delighted to host a reception in honour of Ugandan scholars selected for the prestigious Erasmus+ scholarships. The event was presided over by the State Minister for Education Hon. John Muyingo who represented Education Minister First Lady Janet Museveni.

This year, the 17 Ugandan awardees will study in at least two universities across Europe and associated countries, including Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Turkey.

At the fun-filled colourful event, Team Europe Ambassadors from Sweden, Belgium, Austria, Hungary and France joined the celebration to see off the Ugandan winners as they embark on their academic journey across Europe.
