EU Delegation and EU Member States held European food tasting for residents and visitors of Ashgabat
The Delegation of the European Union to Turkmenistan together with the Embassy of France, Embassy of Germany, Embassy of Italy and Embassy of Romania held a tasting ceremony of the European cuisine as part of the European Union Culture Week held in Turkmenistan on 24-31 October 2022.
The ceremony took place in the trade and business centre “Berkarar” where any visitor could join the tasting ceremony. The ceremony included several representative dishes from various countries of the European Union. The event brought together about 1000 visitors.
The Delegation of the European Union to Turkmenistan together with the Embassy of France, Embassy of Germany, Embassy of Italy and Embassy of Romania invited chefs who cooked national cuisine and talked about the European cooking culture. Representatives of the Turkmen private sector who use European technologies or have a franchise of the European brands to produce food products in Turkmenistan also supported the event.
