Giuseppe Perrone
During his service in the Italian diplomatic career, Giuseppe Perrone held various positions, including at the Italian Embassy in Algiers and in Washington for two terms.
He was Consul General of Italy in Los Angeles and worked at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Deputy Director General of Political Affairs/Central Director for the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
He was Ambassador of Italy in Tripoli (2017-2019) and Tehran (2019-2024).
Since September 1, 2024, Giuseppe Perrone is the Ambassador of the European Union to Tunis.
