On 1 June 2023, H.E. Mr. David Daly, Ambassador of the European Union to Thailand, on behalf of the European Union, and H.E. Mr Asi Mamanee, Director-General for European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand, signed an agreement on diplomatic facilitation on Thailand’s recognition of the EU laissez-passer as a valid travel document, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand as a witness.
