The European Union Delegation is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals under the Team Europe Initiative “Opportunity-driven Skills and Vocational Education and Training in Africa” (TEI OP-VET)

This initiative is reshaping how skills programs are designed, ensuring they respond to real employment opportunities driven by EU investments, trade, value chain developments, and other market dynamics.

If you yourself, or another entity you know, are active and experienced in the selected value chain of critical minerals in Tanzania, this funding opportunity is for you!

Call details:

• Open for application: 6 September to 3 November 2024
• Funding amount:  1-2 Mio EUR
• Timeline: Implementation period 24 months starting in April 2025
• Who Can Apply - either as consortium or within a multi-stakeholder partnership:
  • Private sector networks or companies
  • Foundations
  • Public and private VET providers
  • Governmental organisations
  • Regional and international organisations
  • Civil society organisations/NGOs
