Go Europe! Invest in the EU. Invest in our shared future

The European Economic and Trade Office (EETO) published today (22 September) the "2021 Go Europe! Investment Guide". The investment brochure gives an overview about the EU investment climate and introduces the 15 EU Member States present in Taiwan to the public.

Filip Grzegorzewski, Head of the European Economic and Trade Office, emphasized the close relationship between the EU and Taiwan. He commended the robust trade relationship between both sides making Europe the biggest foreign investor in Taiwan. Investments by Taiwanese companies in the EU also increased by 122.3% in the last year. He invited companies to take advantage of the opportunities in Europe and to benefit from the reorganization of the global supply chains.

EETO will organise the "2021 EU Investment Forum" on 14 October as an online event in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Sabine Weyand, Director General of the Directorate General of Trade of the European Commission, will be the VIP speaker. The event will introduce to Taiwanese companies the key investment projects and investment incentives of the EU and MS in the next years. Business leaders from Taiwan and the European Union will share their investment experience in the EU.

The EU looks forward to building a sustainable future together in the coming decade.
