Recap

Seventeen-year-old Petya, embittered by an act of injustice at school, takes her own life. This was the fate of the talented poet Petya Dubarova in 1979 and, forty years later, in 2019, the fate of an ordinary girl with the same first name. Though the times, the eras, and the girls are different, the system that rejects those who don’t conform remains unchanged.
