When the war in Ukraine erupts, five women from different generations and backgrounds find themselves in a desperate struggle to protect themselves and their loved ones. A blind girl becomes the caretaker of a group of orphans, a female doctor faces a profound moral dilemma while treating a Russian soldier, a teenage girl does everything she can to save her little sister, an elderly woman refuses to leave her home, and a mother moves to the frontlines to search for her son. Filip Hillesland

Born in Warsaw, Poland, Filip Hillesland is a half-Norwegian, half-Polish film and video game director. He graduated from Warsaw Film School with a degree in film directing before working on several acclaimed film projects as a director and writer. Additionally, he has contributed to popular video games, including ‘Cyberpunk 2077.’

Maciej Ślesicki

Born in 1966 in Warsaw, Maciej Ślesicki is a film director, screenwriter, producer, and esteemed educator. He rose to prominence in the 1990s with the films ‘Tato’ and ‘Sara.’ Ślesicki is also the founder and chancellor of the Warsaw Film School and has earned two Academy Award nominations as a producer.
