A nuclear power plant worker has imposed a personal limit on his lifetime's electricity consumption. As his remaining energy dwindles, he faces a critical decision on how to use what's left. 3 MWh is a poetic film exploring themes of degrowth and the rejection of anthropocentrism.

Marie-Magdalena Kochová

Born in Prague in 1994, Czech director Marie-Magdalena Kochová graduated in New Media from Pilsen and Documentary Film from FAMU in Prague. Her short films have taken part in many international festivals, winning numerous awards. Her work focuses on personal and social themes through documentary and fictional forms, and she is currently working on her first feature-length documentary film, ‘The Other One.’
