National Assembly Seminar on 'Strategies for Ending Plastic Pollution and International Cooperation towards INC-5’

EU Delegation to the ROK, 2024
The National Assembly Forum on Climate Change (NAFCC) and the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Korea, in the framework of the EU-RoK Green Partnership, will jointly hold a seminar on 'Strategies for Ending Plastic Pollution and International Cooperation' on Friday, November 1st 2024, ahead of the 5th Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC-5) to finalise the UN international agreement on plastic pollution, which will be held in Busan at the end of November.
The seminar aims to discuss strategies to end global plastic pollution and to promote international cooperation, converging with global efforts to establish a legally binding international treaty.
You are kindly invited to participate by registering via the link below or attending online via Youtube live streaming. In the case that you attend in person, please bring your ID and come 30 minutes in advance to clear out entry formalities to the premises.
Please refrain from bringing single use products (plastic bottled water, takeaway cups, etc.) at the event. Reusable cups will be provided at the venue, and water can be refilled from the water dispenser in the seminar room.
