In line with the EU Green Deal, Team Europe aims to sustainably increase the attractiveness of rural and urban areas and improve the living environment and conditions of populations.
The development of the green economy will promote universal access to sustainable energy, the creation of decent jobs, the strengthening of food sovereignty, resilience to climate change and the promotion of a healthy environment.

Team Europe (EU, France, Germany) supports the promotion of the digital economy and services in an inclusive and equitable manner, while reducing the digital divide between urban and rural areas and ensuring respect for environmental concerns.

In partnership with the private sector, Team Europe (EU, Germany, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Switzerland) is working alongside Senegal to promote access to employment for young people by expanding the offer of vocational and technical training to enable young people to learn the skills needed to facilitate their integration into the that meets the ambitions of young people and the needs of the labor market. The EU thus promotes the capacity building of stakeholders and institutions in the field of higher education and vocational training, and thus promotes the international mobility of students, learners, researchers and academic and administrative staff.

Pharmaceutical Sovereignty
As part of the Team Europe Initiative on the production of and access to vaccines, medicines and health technologies - MAV+ - Team Europe (EU, European Investment Bank, Belgium, Germany, France and Luxembourg) supports, through a systemic approach, the recovery plan for the pharmaceutical industry in Senegal, with the objective of locally producing at least 50% of the needs in health products by 2035, and, more broadly, meeting the needs of the sub-region and the continent.
