Access2Markets offers a wide range of services, including:

  • Detailed information on tariffs and taxes
  • Specific requirements (such as standards, certifications, and labeling) for exporting products to the EU
  • Details on the EU’s trade agreements with third countries
  • Trade statistics to help identify opportunities in EU trade
  • A practical guide covering the entire export and import process, from initial planning to logistics and regulatory compliance

Paraguay and Access2Markets

Paraguay has been part of the Access2Markets platform since its launch in November 2020. It was promoted through social media and informal meetings and was formally presented in Paraguay on December 15, 2021, at an event organized by the Delegation of the European Union and the Eurochamber Paraguay.

What Does the Platform Offer?

Since 2020, Access2Markets has continuously improved by expanding its information and services to better meet business needs.

  • Enhanced Database: The platform has enriched its database with more detailed information, now covering new areas such as the export and import of services, foreign investments, and government procurement. It has also expanded its geographic coverage, incorporating new markets, particularly those with recent EU trade agreements.
  • Expanded Services & Personalization: The platform has broadened its range of services with a focus on customization. Tools like "My Trade Assistant" have been optimized to allow users to refine searches according to their specific needs. Additionally, new tools have been introduced, such as ROSA (Rules of Origin Self-Assessment), which enables businesses to independently verify whether their products meet the necessary rules of origin to benefit from tariff preferences under EU trade agreements. ROSA also provides detailed explanations on the documentation required to prove product origin and obtain tariff benefits.
