Programming is linked to the development objectives of Nepal’s current (15th) 5-year National Development Plan (NDP) 2019-2024.

The NDP lays the foundations for the country to graduate1 to a middle-income country by 2030, to deliver rights to all through a socially based system, to adopt a green economy and to build a climate-resilient society. The 2015 Constitution guarantees the sustainable development of the society and economy.
