The Delegation of the European Union to Nepal invites interested individuals or firms to submit their sealed bid (offer) for the purchase of the used EU official vehicle listed below and sold on “as is where is” basis. The vehicle is available for inspection from 11-21 January 2022, Monday to Friday between 10 am – 12:00 noon at the parking premises of the Delegation office at Lazimpat, Kathmandu.

Interested bidders (Individuals/firms/companies) can copy and fill the form below in Annex 1. The bid should be submitted by 02 February 2022 before 5 PM in a sealed envelope with the mention “Bid for vehicle auction”, to the following address:

The Delegation of the European Union to Nepal reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without giving reasons whatsoever.

Terms and conditions

1. Potential buyers shall make offer in written form, using the template (see Annex 1) and submit it to the Delegation's office before the deadline mentioning BID for vehicle auction on the top of the envelope.
2. The offers will be evaluated on the basis of highest bid.
3. Only offers received within the closing date/time will be evaluated.
4. The highest bidder will be invited to buy the vehicle via email. If s/he doesn't want to buy the vehicle in the given period of time, the second highest bidder will be invited to buy.
5. The items on sale shall still remain the property of the European Union until the proof of payment is presented as well as the necesssary paperwork for the transfer of ownership is done
6. Payments should be deposited in the Delegation's bank account. Bank account detail will be communicated later to the successful bidder.
7. Vehicle should be removed from the Delegation premises within a week after completion the procedure of transfer of ownership. 
8. The Delegation of the European Union to Nepal does not take any warranty and guarantee of the vehicle.
9. The Delegation of the European Union to Nepal has the right to cancel or extend the auction period at any time.
10. The staff of the Delegation of the European Union to Nepal are not eligible to bid for this auction.
